Finding The Best OTC Acne Medicine

How do you go about finding the best otc acne medicine with so many to choose from? That was the question I asked my physician recently and surprisingly even he wasn’t much help and simply said that I have to work my way through the list until I find one that works for me. He did however give me one pointer that helped. It seems that otc acne medicines are divided into groups according to their active ingredients and that if one medicine doesn’t work then it’s little use trying another which is based on the same active ingredient. This should at least narrow my search a bit.
