Mexico’s Killing Fields
What do Canadians already in Mexico have to do when the law stating Canadians need a visa to enter mexico star?
Starting this weekend Canadians will need a visa to enter Mexico, but what does that mean for canadians that are already in Mexico, and will be for another two months or so?
You must be mistaken. The new visa requirement applies to Mexicans visiting Canada.
If it were it would only apply as of a specific date and not retroactive, therefore anyone in the country would have until their FMT expired.
Cabochic an FMT is not a VISA. It is as the Americans call it ,a tourist card.
See second link and see that Canada and the U.S.A are not on the list
Canada just imposed a VISA requirement for Mexicans as they need one for the U.S

Hola. What are you talking about. Canadians have always needed a visa to enter Mexico. If you are already in Mexico you should have your FM tourist Visa to exit, or at least your FM2 or FM3 depending on the reason you came to Mexico. Nothing has changed.
