1. Here is one question I get asked far too often: What is your favorite kind of wine and where in the world does the best wine come from? Okay that was kind of two questions, but whatever … As to the first part of that question all I can really say is that my favorite wine is one that is well balanced. Not too sweet, not too acidic, not too many tannis, etc. Personally I think balance is what sets a good wine apart from bad. As to the second part of that question, well it is impossible to answer. I mean great wine can be found all over the world. I really do not think there is any “best” place for wine … far too subjective of a question. California Wine Club
