Improving Your Credit

If overextending your credit has caused your score to tank, there are steps you can take to turn things around. First, stop the bleeding. Put a freeze on any new credit. Make a budget and start buying what you need and holding off on what you want. Next start paying down the high balances to make a little room between your credit limit and whats available. You don’t necessarily have to close the cards unless you cant stop charging. Next, make sure you are paying everything well before the due date. Not just credit cards either. Cell phones, utility bills, and the cable bills all counts if they get reported as late.
These are are just a couple of steps you can take to improve credit ratings and keep your score high.
