Mexico’s Killing Fields

Do i need a visa or permit if i have a two stopover flights in the US?

I am from New Zealand and I am flying from Auckland to Aguascalientes Mexico, there are no direct flights so i will have a stopover in Los Angeles and Dallas.

Your passport should be enough, and generally you don’t leave the airport, you just change terminals.

how much is a ticket from tijuana to aguascalientes?

In your last question about how much a ticket from Tijuana to Mexico city could cost I mention several airlines, check them if they have a flight to Aguascalientes.

The best deal is probably getting your self from Tijuana to Guadalajara by airplane and then take a 2 hour trip from Guadalajara to Aguascalientes by bus.

What is the safest border to cross this month?

We are ex-pats living in Aguascalientes, Mexico. My husband’s assignment has just ended & so now we are leaving for Michigan, USA in early July 2008. Since we brought our car into this country, we need to take it back with us to the USA. We have updated FM-3’s & Passports for us & our two children. We will also be bringing back our 15 year old cat. What would be the safest route/border to take?

I think Laredo or McAllen might be good options for you and your traveling plans. They are pretty safe and they are on your way. Have a Great Trip Back. Greetings from Zacatecas.

What are the chances for a dialysis patient from the US to move to Mexico?

My mom is a US resident and she wants to move back to Aguascalientes, Mex. She is suffering a lot because she has many medical issues including diabetes and heart problems and she wants to spend the rest of her life living peacefully in Mexico. What I want to know is what her options are over there, how much would a dialysis treatment cost over there, where could she have her treatments at, etc. Please help. Thank you.

You have to call and ask. If you get her in a home hemo program in the U.S. and take the machine with you but you have to think about water sterility and electric. There are alot of options but you have to call/go online and talk to these people who have a dialysis center near where she wants to be. Try dialysisfinder.com it work for all my patients who like to travel around! Good luck
