Languages of Panama
Language is one of the most certain way in identifying a person’s nationality. Almost all of the countries in the whole world have at least one language while there are some countries that more than language.
Panama is one of the countries that belong to the latter category. There are many Panama languages. Although the official language of Panama is Spanish, English and other indigenous languages are spoken in this country.
But before Spanish became the official language of Panama, various kinds of indigenous languages were spoken throughout the country. Before the Spanish explorers came and discovered Panama, great number of indigenous people inhabited the isthmus (an isthmus is a narrow strip of land that is bordered on both sides by a body of water and this strip of land connects two large masses of land, another example of an isthmus is the Suez, the Suez connects North Africa and Southwest Asia). The population of these indigenous people, at that time, was estimated to be around five hundred thousand individuals from over sixty different tribes. Not all of these sixty tribes spoke the same language. One example of this is the tribe of Bokata and Guaymi. The Bokata tribe settled on the eastern Bocas del Toro by the side of the Rio Calovebora, while the Guaymi tribe inhabited the remote regions northwest of the country. Although the Bokata and Guaymi speech are similar yet these two languages are unintelligible mutually.
Before heading off to Panama, you might want to take some time and teach yourself Spanish.

Dieting to lose belly fat
I have been doing this high carb diet lately. It’s based on the Dean Ornish diet. I can’t remember the name of the book. Anway, it breaks down sort of like this. You eat about 70 percent carbs, 20 percent protein and 10 percent fats.
It’s not hard to follow, but I haven’t really lost a whole lot of weight. I have been thinking about going in the reverse direction and going higher protein and lower carbohydrate. I am not sure if that is the answer.
I did come across a site that lists the best fat loss diets. It seems to have a good selection of options. There’s a selection of diets for people who don’t work out too.

how productive are you?
It is a well known fact that of the eight hours of the work day, very few are actually productive. There have been numerous studies done, showing these results. Employees tend to slack off and do other things but work. That is a strange thing that seems to be more frequent with the advent of the internet. The best way to deal with this is to manage time better. This works best if you are self-employed. Time you’re eight hours and see how many are spent working and how many are spend doing tedious tasks. This will help you with your work flow dramatically.

During or stay there we went to explore the island, we rent some APV and then toured around. We even went on to this place where you can ride the Zorb(a huge ball where you will be harness in the middle of it). Of course don’t forget the food, that place is full of tasty delicacies you will surely enjoy. Hope we can go again this year.

The Last Days of Old Beijing
“The Last Days of Old Beijing,” by Michael Meyer, is a great read that I highly recommend. While exhibiting my Chinese antique furniture at the Marion, Massachusetts Antique Show, and also at the Vermont Antique Dealers Association Show in August, 2009, I realized that everything displayed on my walls had been taken from destroyed houses. I had window frames, doors, exquisite wooden carvings, pole signs, and presentation signs, all of which came from destroyed houses. Looking at what I had hanging in my displays became “bitter/sweet” to me. I cannot sell that which I don’t like, and I truly loved the things on display. When I viewed them as small parts of a destroyed house, the sweetness turned to sadness as I generalized from the beauty of the rescued fragments to the imagined beauty of the destroyed house in its prime.

Heading to San Fran
OK, So me and the kids are going to jump on a plane and head out to San Francisco to visit my brother. We are going to do a lot of touristy kinds of things but my brother does not have any spare vehicles. So, I am on the lookout for car rental discounts, especially for something that can accommodate my brood of 4 kidlets. I just hope I can stand it because this will be the first time we’ve been on an extended trip in over 3 years, and the baby has never been on one. Oh Joy! That’s all for now.
