Mexico’s Killing Fields

Mexico en el grupo de la muerte?

http://www.yucatan.com.mx/noticia.asp?cx=10$0405010000$4192276&f=20091117
Is it el de la muerte?
BQ: when does the Concachampions start again?

Don’t worry who will be in our group cause I bet every team that gets stuck in our group will be wishing Mexico wasnt in there!

Mexico might not have finished as a first seed but trust me.. Mexico plays as a 1 seed! Teams would rather play against Argentia and the U.S. and many more instead of Mexico!

What are the nicest places in Mexico based on quality of life?

In Mexico, what are the nicest places to live based on the quality of life / availability of services, modernness, etc? I don’t mean for a place to visit but just in general, what are the nice areas of Mexico for people to live?

If you’re looking for the places where lots of foreigners make their home, try:
* San Miguel de Allende
* Patzcuaro
* Lake Chapala / Ajijic

Personally, I would far prefer Morelia, Merida, Veracruz or Guanajuato — all beautiful cities with plenty of services and modern perks, but also lots of charm plus authentic local culture.

Hope you find what you’re looking for!

When clicking around travel websites, which sections do you find the most helpful?

When planning a trip online, you can do more than book the flight. Many websites offer travel guides, lists of destination activities, etc. We’d love to know which online travel tools you rely on the most.

For me, I like to know more about the destination cities or countries. the facilities, information about cool place and tourism area, etc. I also would like to know about the accomodation that travel agencies provide. About the flight, I would like to know the plane type, the services they give especially for a long journey, and all kind of important information such as baggage limit etc.

Hmm Social Studies! Opinions on Mexican immigration. !please!?

1. Do you think the maquiladoras should be allowed to continuing operating on the Mexican border without any changes? Why or why not?

2. Name at least two problems (or opinions) that come from ILLEGAL immigration.

3. In your opinion, what should be done to solve the problem of ILLEGAL immigration form Mexico to the United States?

Thanks so much!! =)

2. they take away our jobs, they force us to learn their language because they refuse to learn ours
3. dig a moat across the border, use the dirt to build levees in louisiana, and take all the extra alligators from florida and put them in the moat. mexicans wont be so thrilled to come here illegally anymore….

haha! yes i like that berlin idea! but we should do the alligator thing in the moat too :)

How can i make my chihuahua more friendly and less agressive toward me and other people and animals?

I have a 2 year old chihuahua he is realy active and fun. But lets say i try to take one of his toys or if he has something in his mouth that he shouldnt have everytime i try to take it he will growl at me and try to bite me. He is also that way with other people. Please help and tell me what to do to calm his agression down and be more friendly.

Agression, especailly human agression (HA) is a hard one. It should not be tolerated, wether the dog is small or large. I recommend talking to a behaviorist and trainer, if it is a workable problem they will be able to help you with it. If the problem is NOT workable (the behaviorist will be able to determine this) then the dog needs to be put down.

Do i need Mexico Visa to travel to Mexico for tourist purpose. I am an Indian citizen with H1B.?

I am planning to travel to Mexico for tourist purpose. I am planning to stay there for 4 nights.Do i need to take mexico tourist visa. I am leaving in DC. Do i need to get stamping in Mexico consulate or will they give me Tourist card in flight or Mexico airport.

As an Indian citizen, in America and wanting to travel to Mexico you will need an official visa.
Please see the link for the list of countries that do NOT . Also see that India is not on that list.
You can not get a tourist permit.
You can walk across the border for 72 hours if you wish but you need a VISA to go downtown Mexico
Here is a link for the Embassy. See 2nd link
