Mexico’s Killing Fields
What do Canadians already in Mexico have to do when the law stating Canadians need a visa to enter mexico star?
Starting this weekend Canadians will need a visa to enter Mexico, but what does that mean for canadians that are already in Mexico, and will be for another two months or so?
You must be mistaken. The new visa requirement applies to Mexicans visiting Canada.
If it were it would only apply as of a specific date and not retroactive, therefore anyone in the country would have until their FMT expired.
Cabochic an FMT is not a VISA. It is as the Americans call it ,a tourist card.
See second link and see that Canada and the U.S.A are not on the list
Canada just imposed a VISA requirement for Mexicans as they need one for the U.S

How can I travel in Europe backpacking without carrying much luggage?
I am a young lady intending to travel next year to Europe and go backpacking around Europe. I love to shop whenever I arrive at a new place & I just can’t help but buy. If I am traveling alot I’ll have to carry less baggage with me so please help me plan my trip. Your contributions are much appreciated. Thanks all.
Carry bare essentials only since you will be shopping. Try mailing stuff back to your home by the cheapest possible route- i.e by sea. When packing use the 50% rule i.e. afer packing , try removing half. Happy travelling.

Why do many old americans, go to live to Mexico (Jalisco, Cuernavaca etc.?
The above answer has it right. They get to go live in a warm climate like many of them seem to enjoy but there money goes a lot farther in Mexico then it does in places like Florida.

What ancient pyramids are located in Mexico? what are the names of all the pyramids?
i am doing a spanich project and need to know all the pyramids located in mexico. i woul like to know names so i can research about them.
As a mexican that has visited several pyramids in the past, I’d suggest you to separate the pyramids by which culture built them and by geographic region because there’s so many of them.
Mexico City alone still conserves about 8 or 9 pyramids counting in Teotihuacan (remmeber that current Mexico City was a city named Tenochtitlán which had a lot of pyramids but the Aztecs themselves destroyed their own city, so very few pyramids still remain to this day, most of them buried underground somewhere.
Teotihuacan and the Templo Mayor aren’t the only 2 pyramids in Mexico City. There’s one in the mount Tizayuca in Tlalnepantla State of Mexico (I haven’t visited it yet though), another one which has this strange round shape somewhere in the delegación Tlalpan. I just can’t remember the pyramid’s name right now. There’s also a pyramids in the plaza de las culturas in Tlatelolco which I haven’t visited yet either. Ugh.. I really need to tour my own city a bit more.
Teotihuacan isn’t an Aztec pyramid BTW, historians still aren’t really sure who built them but that they abandoned the city before the Aztecs came. Some of the remaining pyramids in Mexico City aren’t Aztec either since there was a huge gamma of small indian tribes surrounding the original city, but for simplification you could say they were all Aztec, your teacher probably won’t notice.
There’s a nice pyramid in the city of Tula, Hidalgo, I believe it’s Toltec culture.
Veracruz has several pyramids.
The archeological site of Montealbán Oaxaca is very famous. I believe it’s Zapotec.
There is an Olmec archeological site in Tabasco named "La Venta", I think there’s a small pyramid in it.
Tere’s also an interesting pyramid in northen Puebla but I haven’t seen it myself yet and I don’t know who built it.
Notice that not all Mayan pyramids are located in modern-day Mexico. Some of their pyramids are in Guatemala and Belize.
It’s a little known secret that ordinary tourists don’t know, but there’s several small pyramids near the city of Toluca in the state of Mexico.

How long to travel to Mars from the point of view of those traveling?
I’ve heard that it will take roughly 9 months to travel to Mars. But, time travels faster when farther away from large gravitational fields. How long will it take from the point of view of an astronaut making the trip? What will be the maximum difference in the speed of time from an astronaut on the journey from the speed of time at mission control on earth?
actually if you only considered time dilatation due to gravity, the clocks on earth would be slower than clocks on a spacecraft which is not in the gravity well of earth
However in this case, time dilation due to speed will be present so the net effect will be that the clocks on the spacecraft will be slower than that on earth.
Escape velocity from earth is 11.186 km/s. Lets be generous and say the space ship can go 10x that. Using the calculations from the website below, time dilatation factor would be 1.0000000696110642 times slower. If i calculate correctly, you lose 2 point something seconds a year

Wondering about travel to Cuernavaca, Mexico?
My University is holding a learning class for 3 weeks to Mexico, I would really like to attend. It wil be a cultural learning experience
I’m noided, because they have been acting buck wild over there lately killing people……do you think its safe to travel in 2009 July??
Will they provide protection for the group?
Good luck with those psycho drug cartels shooting everyone up including police officers. Hell I hear some of them have better weapons than the police officers. I wouldnt go, but if you really want to go you should inquire about security. Ask your teacher about it. I used to want to go vacation in Mexico, but now I dont want to go anymore thats one country Im not going near. Its too bad because they have some really great vacation spots.
Im all about people learning and immersing themselves in other cultures, just ask your teacher I dont want to discourage you from going.
