Mexico’s Killing Fields

Cuernavaca VS Mexico City for study abroad?

I want to study abroad next summer in Mexico, and I’m trying to figure out the city with the most stuff to do, but also one that is full of culture and history; one that does not just look like an American city. Which of these is best? Has anyone been to either?

Trust me, Mexico City does not look like an American city. It is a city but on its surroundings, it is very cultural. So much to do and learn from.

I say Mexico city, only because I’ve been there. But I’ve heard that Cuernavaca is a dangerous place. When we drove to Mexico City from the North, we were passing Cuernavaca, and some family members told us not to stop there no matter what, not even if we wanted to go to the rest room or if we needed gas. They said "what ever you do, don’t STOP at Cuernavaca, it’s so corrupted." No mean to scare you but I don’t know, maybe it’s safe at the schools there.

But Mexico definitely has a lot more.

Is it true that Mexico attempted to build a nuclear weapon recently?

Mexico City, Mexico.

Mexico recently builded a nuclear weapon, But it can’t explode. They’ve recently tried to detonate it but the warhead was just smoky when you push the red button. There must be mallfunctions, or not enough Ingredients for the nuclear. Do they even certified to make such an arsenal?

mexico is totally peacefull, we’ve not been in international wars in more than 100s of years… im mexican and i never heard about this i think its all false rumors.

How do I travel from London to France via train?

This weekend (12th April-13th April) I need to get from London to Berck Sur Mer in France (roughly about a 2 hour drive west along the coast from Calais) for the kite festival.
I will be travelling on my own and the travel websites aren’t being very helpful as they are either for train journeys within the UK or just within France. Please help someone!

Berck-sur-Mer doesn’t seem to be served by railway, but nearby villages as Verton and Le Touquet/Etaples does. You’ll need to use the Eurostar from London to France then do a minimum of two changes with local trains and/or buses.

My favotire trick to search in european timetables is the swiss federal railway’s website available at:

http://www.sbb.ch/en/index.htm

or the french verision if you prefer:

Hi I live in Cuernavaca Mexico, does anyone have a list of all the spiders scorpions etc and if they poisonous

Spiders: Black Widow spiders (Called "capulin") … and an equally toxic versions that are brown, and black and red striped.

Prevention: keep the house clean. They love messy places, and will live in furniture.

Scorpions … yes. They are all poisonous and the sting hurts like hell. Can be fatal to small children and elderly persons.

Prevention: Don’t take out the trash at night. Scorpions hang around the trash areas hunting cockroaches. Most of the stings happen at night, on bare feet.

Wear gloves if you are picking up trash and dead branches.

how much is a ticket from tijuana to aguascalientes?

In your last question about how much a ticket from Tijuana to Mexico city could cost I mention several airlines, check them if they have a flight to Aguascalientes.

The best deal is probably getting your self from Tijuana to Guadalajara by airplane and then take a 2 hour trip from Guadalajara to Aguascalientes by bus.

Banana Co.

How I Made My Millions
India Rubber
Inside My Head
Killer Cars
Lull
Maquiladora
Million Dollar Question

Talk Show Host
Yes I Am
@@
and what of the songs is the best;
in your opinion?
most popular?

most of these songs were b-sides to singles that were released. Most came out during their albums The Bends and OK computer.

Talk Show Host was on the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack and is probably my favorite song from this list. Bishops Robes is also good.
Actually all Radiohead songs are great.

I think you can only buy them when you purchase their singles. You may also be able to buy them at www.radiohead.com and you can pick up their new album as well…
