53% white/European descent (mostly Spanish, but also French, Italian, Russian, Polish, German, Swedish, Greek, and Romanian)
44% mestizo (mixed Amerindian-European)

Open up a factory in Mexico?
My company is suffering from slumping sales due to high cost of product and high labor rates. Should I close 2 factories, laying off 1500 and open a ‘Maquiladora" in mexico? I could save 25,000 per worker per year. This would allow me to lower my costs substantially. Oh yeah my father founded this business and would abhor the thought of a lay off and a move to mexico. The main firm would stay here of course. Should I sell out to cheap foreign labor against my dead fathers wishes?
No way, it is a matter of principle, things like this just put our economy on even more of a downward tend. There is some other way to make them profitable again, you just haven’t thought of it yet. It’ll come to you.

How to teach my chihuahua to be nice to people?
My chihuahua only obeys me and my mom. She hates everyone else and I want her to be nice to other people, I try yelling at her when she tries snapping at other people, but she ALWAYS continues being mean. Is there a way to teaching her to be nice to people besides me? I don’t want to keep her locked in a room if I have people over. People like her, but she doesn’t like people.
She is frightened of people which is why she snaps.
Fear is displayed by, fighting: which is what she does and becomes agressive, flight: running away, freezing, standing still or laying down without moving and fooling around.
Put her on a lead when anyone comes to your house and ask them no to touch, look or talk to your dog whatever she does, this will start to take the pressure off her and within a short time she will settle down and be less fearful.
Once she doesn’t growl at people allow her off lead and ask them to continue not to look, touch or talk to her, give them a couple of treat and tell them when she comes over to sniff, just to drop the treats onto the floor, make sure you put her back on the lead before they leave as the energy in the room changes when people come and go and she may start acting up again as dogs understand our world through the energy we give off, excited energy is negative energy in the dog world so she will disply fear again in the way she knows that works for her.
Do this for a few weeks with EVERY visitor and you can even set it up and have people call just to train this and don’t push her too quickly, when you think it is going well don’t push it any further stop when she is winning.

Why are the citizens of the US not illegally emigrating to Mexico and claiming rightful citizenship?
I mean, if it’s a numbers game, the USA wins, we have almost 300m and Mexico has less than 100m, even if all the people here from Mexico illegally go back to Mexico they will still not have more than us. So, why don’t people just move to Mexico and claim it as part of the USA? Is there any good reason not too?

Because Mexico actually enforces its laws on immigration and deports people there illegally.

How to travel to Israel without having the entry visa stamped in my Passport?
I am an American citizen, and need to travel to Israel. Several Arab countries will not allow you to enter their country with a Israeli visa stamped in a passport, I will be visiting 6 Arab countries later in the year. I have also heard several horror stories from people who have entered Arab countries with Israeli visas. Is there a way to aquire an Israeli visa without having it stamped in my passport.
Ask the Israeli customs to enter Israel on form AL - 17 and not having your passport stamped.
Keep this piece of paper inside your passport while in Israel and take it out when entering any Arab country.

CAOS VEHICULAR EN LIMA Y EL ALCALDE HABLA CON LOS CHISTOSOS
¿A QUE HORA TRABAJAN LOS OBREROS?Informe de 90 segundos por Francisco Flores,donde apreciamos la demora en distintas rutas de la capital por ejemplo:
Recorriendo la avenida Arequipa hasta el centro de Lima,para llegar hasta 28 de Julio se necesitan 45 minutos,mientras Petit Thouars sigue cerrada.
Desde la Marina hasta Petit Thouars algunos tendrán que salir una hora antes de lo acostumbrado para llegar a tiempo a su centro de trabajo.
Con el objetivo de expresar la solidaridad del Perú con los colombianos que se encuentran secuestrados por las FARC se realiza hoy en Lima(19/07) la Marcha por la Paz.
Desde las 07.30 hasta las 14.00 horas será cerrada la avenida Larco, en el tramo comprendido entre el Óvalo de Miraflores y la avenida 28 de Julio, así como la primera cuadra de la avenida Ricardo Palma, para permitir el paso del desfile y pasacalle escolar, siendo la ruta alterna la calle La Paz, informó la Municipalidad de Miraflores.
Posteriormente, para dar paso a la Gran Marcha por la Paz, las autoridades ediles han dispuesto el cierre de la avenida Larco, desde el parque Salazar hasta el Óvalo Central entre las 15.00 y las 17.00 horas.
Una vez finalizada la marcha, Larco sólo estará cerrada desde Benavides hasta el Óvalo Central para la realización de un concierto, en el que se espera la participación de unas veinte mil personas.
Desde las 19.30 horas hasta las 22.00 horas como máximo, cuando termine el concierto la avenida Ricardo Palma de este a oeste (en el sentido que viene de Surquillo) estará cerrado desde la calle Alfonso Ugarte hasta el Óvalo.
En tanto, la avenida Arequipa estará cerrada desde las 07.30 horas hasta que culmine el evento. La ruta alterna en este caso es Enrique Palacios hasta Elías Aguirre-Pardo y José Gálvez. Este cierre solo es para el transporte público.
La concentración para la Marcha por la Paz será en el Parque Salazar a las 14.00 horas. Allí se concentrarán una delegación de la Embajada de Colombia, autoridades del Estado, gobierno local, artistas, políticos y público en general,se contará con el apoyo de mil policías y además se ha dispuesto el apoyo permanente de 320 serenos y 70 inspectores municipales de transporte distrital que informarán al detalle las rutas alternas y de escape.
Los vehículos de transporte público que vienen de oeste a este con dirección al sur por Comandante Espinar, deberán tomar la ruta de Jorge Chávez, José Gálvez, Malecón 28 de Julio, Colón, José Gonzáles y La Paz.
Las unidades particulares de los vecinos de la zona, podrán llegar hasta una cuadra antes de la avenida Larco.
Mientras tanto, las unidades de transporte público que van de oeste a este desde Pardo con Comandante Espinar deberán desviar por calle Dos de Mayo, Pershing, Suárez y Ricardo Palma.(CRONICA VIVA).
Este caos genera consecuencias nefastas como el incremento de la contaminación, daños graves a la salud y el aumento del índice de mortalidad.
“Está bien que se hagan estas obras pero la solución no está completa”, expresó el decano del Colegio de Ingenieros de Lima, Javier Piqué, quien invocó a la Municipalidad Metropolitana de Lima a instalar semáforos, arreglar las pistas dañadas, instalar señalización en las avenidas y calles más críticas con la finalidad de acabar con el caos vehicular que reina en la ciudad.Me pregunto por qué se hacen las obras que cuestan tanto y por qué no las que cuestan muy poco pero que son la solución para el caos”, añadió Piqué.
Soy parte del grupo que quiere descubrir el misterio de la aprobación de Castañeda: es el político con mayor aceptación del público (83%) y es el que menos da la cara a la población. Y cuando da la cara, entendemos porque es mejor que se quede callado. ¿Podría explicar que quería decir al referirse a quienes lo critican como “gente de mentalidad pequeña, mentalidad de bodeguero”? Digo, que me lo explique a mi, que mi madre tiene una bodega con la que paró la casa.
El caso es que si un bodeguero se dedica administrar su bodega de la mejor forma posible, el alcalde debería dedicarse a administrar la ciudad de la mejor manera posible. Es claro que meterse en política no es sencillo, que ostentar un cargo no es fácil, pero si no les va a gustar escuchar críticas, ¿para que se meten a un cargo público, dónde la ciudadanía y los medios están en la libertad (y en la necesidad) de evaluar su gestión? Como todo ser humano, supongo que le es muy difícil reconocer sus errores, pero lamentablemente como representante de la comuna limeña, y responsable de las obras que en ella se (des)hacen, un poco de modestia, una rápida corrección y un mejor planeamiento de obras, no caería mal.( Blogsperú - Cuaderno de borrador ).
PARA NO TERMINAR DE MALOGRARNOS EL HIGADO LLEGAN AL RESCATE LOS CHISTOSOS,CUESTIONANDO AL ALCALDE ( CASTAÑUELA?), E INTERVINIENDO CESAR HILDEBRANDT ( O HITLERMAN?).
AL FIN BUSCARA DARNOS ALGUNA EXPLICACION A TODO ESTE CAOS EN LA CAPITAL.
